The . CILA is dedicated to enhancing the legal profession and Tribal jurisprudence in . CILA seeks to provide quality educational programming to practitioners Tribal justice personnel students and professionals who may interface with Tribes or Tribal issues in their course of work. CILA promotes the study of Tribal jurisprudence and provides support to Indigenous students in their pursuit of the legal profession. CILA is dedicated to helping Tribes in exercise self-determination self-sufficiency and to protect sovereignty. In 2021 CILA provided scholarships to students hosted the Pathway to Program to prepare pre- students for applying to school published the CILA Legal Journal and hosted several Minimum Continuing Legal Education events for attorneys including the Virtual Panel Series.

THE STORY OF WORLD WAR II IS THE MOST IMPORTANT OF THE 20TH CENTURY, BUT ITS LASTING EFFECTS MAY NOT BE KNOWN TO CURRENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS. IN ADDITION TO TELLING THE STORY THROUGH EXHIBITS, THE MUSEUM WILL SHOW THE IMPORTANT LESSONS AND SOCIETAL PROGRESSIONS THAT CAME FROM SUCH A DEADLY EPISODE. IT WILL SHOW HOW THE GI BILL ALLOWED TO GO TO COLLEGE AND BUY HOMES, CREATING NEW COMMUNITIES AND BUSINESSES ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. IT WILL SHOW THE NECESSARY ADVANCEMENT OF WOMEN IN THE WORKFORCE, THE INTEGRATION OF MINORITIES INTO THE MILITARY AND THE U.N. DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS, WHICH ARE BUT A HANDFUL OF EXAMPLES OF THIS GENERATIONS EFFECT ON THE REST OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY. STUDENTS AND VISITORS OF ALL GENERATIONS WILL COME TOGETHER TO SHARE STORIES, ASK QUESTIONS AND ULTIMATELY KNOW THE EXPERIENCE, AND THE PAIN AND THE COST OF CONFLICT.

MEMBERSHIP IS ALSO EXTENDED TO LAW STUDENTS, PART OF OUR PROGRAMMING IS SPECIFICALLY TARGETED TO THEIR TRAINING GROWTH THROUGH SEMINARS, MENTORING SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES. THE ORGANIZATION HAS A NETWORK OF 2,000 SUPPORTERS THROUGHOUT THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, EUROPE THE CARIBBEAN.

Mount Tamalpais College offers a 61-unit Associate of Arts degree in writing, math, science, and the humanities, as well as a foundational five-course college preparatory program in math and writing, year-round academic support, and co-curricular activities designed to strengthen students academic and social skills. We provide 20 college courses each semester that offer students the opportunity to complete the coursework necessary for transfer to any California State or of California campus. The sole requirement for participation is a high school diploma or GED. No student is excluded based on age, length of sentence, commitment offense, or time left to serve.
